• Long term resident of Frisco - 18 years

• Children are part of FISD; Older one graduated from Heritage High school and younger one is a Freshman at Heritage High School

• Currently serving a Board of Trustee, Frisco ISD

• In the past, Gopal served as:

                            Member, Long Range Planning Committee, FISD

                            Member, Programs and Facilities Evaluation Committee, FISD; 

                            Advisory Board Member, Frisco Education Foundation (FEF); 

                            Volunteer at FEF and reviewed the scholarship application forms

                            Co-Chair of the Mayors Adhoc Committee; Frisco Indian Affairs Committee

• Fundraised for FISD students during his Marathon run in NYC 

• Long distance runner: Ran 10 Marathons

• Passionate Community Leader; Founder/President of a non-profit organization that supports cancer clinic and outgoing students of FISD

• Ardent lover of Fine Arts; Regularly organizes concerts in music and dance

• Part of several other non profits in Dallas that are committed to education and service to the community
